The test covers tenses (present simple, past simple, present perfect, past perfect, future), conditionals (types 1, 2 and 3), passive voice, reported speech, modal verbs, articles, prepositions and gerunds vs infinitives.
The test is aimed at A2 to B2 CEFR levels, making it suitable for elementary, intermediate and upper-intermediate learners. Questions start simpler and progress to more complex grammar structures.
There are 20 multiple-choice questions, each with four options. You receive instant feedback after each question and a full score description at the end.
Your score is the number of correct answers out of 20. The result screen shows your percentage and describes your grammar proficiency with personalised suggestions for improvement.

Scoring 16–20 indicates a strong B2 grammar foundation. Scoring 11–15 suggests a solid B1 level. Scoring 6–10 corresponds to A2 level, and below 6 suggests focusing on A1–A2 grammar fundamentals.
In the active voice, the subject performs the action (e.g. 'The manager signed the contract'). In the passive voice, the subject receives the action (e.g. 'The contract was signed by the manager'). The passive is common in formal and academic English.
Conditional sentences express hypothetical situations. Type 1 (real): 'If it rains, I will stay home.' Type 2 (unreal present): 'If I were rich, I would travel.' Type 3 (unreal past): 'If she had studied, she would have passed.'
